Coaches Classic is a two day event held at Harrison High School. Please refer to the following for the complete schedule:

Saturday 12/15

6:00 am - Meet at High School for Bus

9:30 am - Preliminary round on all 6 mats. Approx 3 hrs.

2:00 pm - Start 2nd round championship and 1st consolation

5:30 pm - 2nd round consolation

7:00 pm - 3rd round championship

8:30 pm - 3rd round consolation

Sunday 12/16

7:15 am - Meet at High School for bus

9:30 am - 4th round consolation

10:30 am - Semi-finals & 5th round consolation

12:30 am - Consolation semi-finals & 7th place bouts

4:00 pm - Finals & Award Ceremony 

On Saturday, the Wrestling team hosted the Adam Cox Memorial and finished 3rd. Senior Greg Melton and Junior Tyler Harkins were undefeated with 5-0 records on the day. Senior Cody Haney, Junior Daymari Rogers, and Sophomore Cameron Addis also had stand out performances finishing the day with only one loss at 4-1. 

This week is a very important week for Norwood Wrestling! On Thursday we have weight certification at Walnut Hills High School. The bus leaves right after school. All wrestlers must go to weight certification, even our injured wrestlers! If you do not participate in weight certification you can not wrestle any matches during the season. Friday, we will be traveling to Goshen Middle School for a preview match against Goshen High School during school hours. Then we are traveling to Harrison on Saturday for another scrimmage. 

Thursday - Weight Certification - @ Walnut Hills High School - Bus leaves after school (if time permits we will practice with Walnut Hills and the other teams present)

Friday - Preview - @ Goshen Middle School - Bus leaves at noon

Saturday - Scrimmage - @ Harrison High School - Bus at 9:00am

There will be a wrestling meeting on Tuesday 10/23 during advisory in the Mini Auditorium.

On November 3rd 2018 Norwood Alumni Casey Ragle will be on the mat, however he will not be brandishing navy and red for the first time in his career.  Casey's first collegiate season is quickly approaching as he is slated to be the 133 pound true freshman starter for the NCAA DII Bellarmine Knights. He has quickly established himself as a dominate force in the Bellarmine practice room. Bellarmine University is located in Louisville, Kentucky.
